Week 15 - 3D Printing the visuals, assembling all the circuits.

Printing the visuals

I did a test print with the Ultrasonic Sensor Part first, outcome was more or less decent.

Test printing the sizing for the Ultrasonic Sensor.

Fitting the Ultrasonic Sensor onto the test print.

I've also done some test prints of the outline for the entire visual but nothing much has been done to print it yet, I'll try to do additional test prints for the sizing and print them overnight.

Assembling the circuits

I printed the holder for the entire battery but realised its too long, so I added foam to give it an artificial spring yet maintaining the tight grip on the battery. I also decided to create a large gap in the holder to better grip the holder incase it slips out.

Trying to attach the wires to the Motor Shield

I'll need to spend some time to solder some new wires to connect the L298N Motor Shield.

Self Reflection - Entire Project

A bit slow at the moment with one week left, I still need to fix up the wiring and finish printing the model before actually testing the product. If it's affordable I'd like to upload a new set of codes into the robot, if not I'll just work with what I have at hand. I'll worry more on wiring and getting the visuals done before anything else first.
